Note that "Master Rules" is an official OCG term, yet, there is no related official term in the TCG. Instead, the official TCG only uses version numbers. TCG players still use these terms to apply to these formats regardless. Please note that your own Official Rulebook may look different.

Want to know why meta decks usually have 45 or less cards? When you have 60 cards in your deck, there's a 23.33% chance of drawing at least 1 copy of a card that you run 3 of in your opening hand. In 40 cards, the chances of drawing at least 1 copy increases to 33.76%. Here is a probability calculator you can use to help you increase your consistency.
